PIR MP.ALERT GSM Review

Important Note: This unit needs a 2G SIM card to operate and will not work with standard 3G cards.

If you're based in the UK then the chances are that you're not likely to be able to get your hands on a 2G SIM card.

However, when you do insert a 2G SIM card then a small faint internal LED (inside above where the SIM goes in) will flash thee times to indicate that it's ready to use.

Let me know if you manage to get ours working.

    I saw these on ebay but still can find where to buy a 2G sim card from, has anyone tried a normal
    UK 3G sim?

      Success guys,
      I ordered my PIR MP.Alert direrct from China. I noticed on one web site they said they would not export to the UK!
      After trying UK SIM cards from Three (3G), O2, and GiffGaff, I finally discovered that a Vodafone PAYG Freedom Freebee SIM card work perfectly. :~)
